Cohen, Weiss and Simon LLP provided legal counsel to the Major League Baseball Players Association with respect to its historic effort to organize more than 5,000 minor league baseball players. After launching an organizing drive on August 29, 2022, the Players Association in only two weeks was able to obtain majority support and voluntary recognition through a card check agreement to successfully become the collective bargaining representative for the minor league players.
