CWS Attorney Susan Davis speaks at Dedication
On March 26, 2024, Susan Davis spoke at a special stamp dedication ceremony for U.S. District Court Judge Constance Baker Motley, the first African American woman appointed to the federal bench. Her stamp is the 47th in the Black Heritage Series. The event was held at the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hall during Women’s History Month on the campus of Rutgers University Law School in Newark, NJ. Guests included students from the Newark Public School’s Law & Public Safety Academy, Barringer and Central High Schools.
Remarks were given by Susan Davis, Rutgers Law School Class of 1981 and former law clerk to Judge Motley.
