Courtney Vice practices in the area of employee benefits. They joined the firm in February 2023. Before joining the firm, they worked as an Investigator at the Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration and reviewed numerous ERISA plans’ compliance with federal law. Ms. Vice also worked as a Law Clerk at the New York States United Teacher’s Union, serving thousands of New York’s public educators and staff. Ms. Vice graduated from Fordham Law School in 2022. During their studies, they served as the Online Managing Editor of the Fordham Urban Law Journal and published The Rainbow Connection: Revisiting the Mixed-Motive Summary Judgment Standard in Bostock’s Afterglow. In addition to their dedication to the domestic labor movement, Ms. Vice is also interested in international labor law; while at Global Justice Center, they published, Myanmar’s Garment Workers Are Fighting for Freedom. It’s Time We Fought with Them, which highlighted the need to stop the mistreatment of international sweatshop laborers. Prior to their move to New York, Ms. Vice graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s in Political Science. They also served as a board member for their undergrad’s United Students Against Sweatshops chapter. |

Off the Clock

While once interested in performing professionally, Courtney now pursues their love of music singing show tunes at karaoke night. When time allows, they run tabletop games and watch campy 80’s movies with their cat, Luna.
